The brief
Club Mahindra wanted to bring an India-rooted, handicraft-led retail experience inside their Goa property, something more considered than the standard hotel souvenir shelf, and aligned with the resort's premium guest experience.
What jhappi did
We set up a curated experience-store presence inside the resort, a jhappi retail edit featuring hampers, individual craft pieces, and gift packs that guests could buy at the property. The edit spanned Phulkari pouches, coconut-shell soy candles, hand-rolled chocolates from a women's collective, and handloom textiles, each piece chosen to sit naturally within the resort's premium setting.
Why it worked
- Provenance: Every product had a story card. Guests connected with the craft, not just the object.
